My Story
Where darkness once ruled, I have found light. My story is one of overcoming adversity, transforming pain into purpose, and embracing the resilience of the human spirit. Having survived childhood trauma, addiction, extreme violence, and life-threatening health issues, I now walk a path of recovery and healing.

For over a decade, I have dedicated my life to supporting others on their journeys. My qualifications include over 15 years in active addiction, surviving the depths of despair, almost a decade of sobriety, a diploma in Addictions and Social Services, and certification as a Life Coach specializing in addictions, trauma, and mental health. I am also an Addiction Consultant, Personal Development Mentor, and Motivational Speaker. Currently, I serve as a Mental Health and Substance Use Peer Specialist at Interior Health and co-facilitate the "Loving Your Addict" support group. Additionally, I am writing my memoir and collaborating with other authors on a book titled 'Healing Mind, Body & Soul: Recovering from the Trauma of Addiction.'

Through my work, writing, and advocacy, I strive to inspire hope, foster healing, and empower others to discover their inner strength.
